FUNDING PROGRAMME FOR INTERNATIONAL YOUTH PROJECTS 

In its EUROPEANS FOR PEACE programme, the Foundation EVZ promotes international school and youth projects between Germany, the countries of Central, Eastern and South-Eastern Europe as well as Israel. In these projects young people actively explore the subjects of discrimination and persecution under National Socialism and/or present-day discrimination issues.

On 22-23 July 2015, at the initiative of the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation and the Union for the Mediterranean (UfM), a High-level Meeting on Intercultural and Interreligious Dialogue will be held at the UfM headquarters in partnership with the European Union, the Anna Lindh Foundation (ALF), the UN Alliance of Civilizations (AoC) and the King Abdullah Bin Abdulaziz International Centre for Inter-religious and Inter-cultural Dialogue (KAICIID).

Organized by the NGO-UNESCO Liaison Committee in close cooperation with UNESCO Secretariat, and with the support of the Chinese National Commission for UNESCO, this Forum falls within the framework of the International Decade for the Rapprochement of Cultures (2013-2022), for which UNESCO is the lead agency.

At the invitation of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Azerbaijan Government, President of the Centre for Promotion of Intercultural Dialogue, Mr. Mihai Valentin Vladimirescu participated in the 3rd World Forum on Intercultural Dialogue in the city of Baku last 18th and 19th May, 2015 under patronage of H.E. Mr. Ilham Aliyev, the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan in cooperation with UNESCO, United Nations Alliance of Civilizations, UN World Tourism Organization, Council of Europe and ISESCO. The motto of Baku Forum 2015 was "Sharing Culture for a Shared Security".
